Opportunity:

Dosimetrist - Dosimetrist

Job Details:

• Provide care to patients ages adolescent through geriatric receiving radiation therapy treatments
• Work with physical and geometric characteristics of radiation equipment and radioactive sources
• Measure and generate radiation dose distributions and calculations under direction of Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
• Handle daily census of 30-40 patients with all disease sites including liver, brain, lung, breast, prostate, bone, and head/neck
• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, and HDR
• Work with specialized equipment including 2 linear accelerators and 1 CT sim
• Required certification: CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must maintain valid state license at time of submission
• Required skills include adult outpatient care, PET scan, tumor localization, brachytherapy, electron field therapy, and various imaging techniques
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning system
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 50-mile travel requirement applies
• Only one holiday will be approved for time off
