Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Weekend coverage required - 3 weekend shifts per contract
• Call shifts required: 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week (Monday-Friday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 3-4 weekend call shifts per month (Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Must be comfortable with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, pre/post procedure care, special procedures, and various cardiac interventions
• Experience with IABP placement/removal, pacemaker/defibrillator procedures, cardiac ablation, angioplasty, and procedural sedation required
• Must be skilled in IV management, sheath removal/monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and 12-lead EKG interpretation
• Work with specialized equipment including FFR, IVUS, Rotablator, and Acist systems
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a 3-room unit
• First-time travelers accepted
