Description
Opportunity:
RN - Orthopedics
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call responsibilities
• Float to other units as needed
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• Care for adult and geriatric orthopedic and medical surgical patients
• Handle high volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
• Work with telemetry monitoring and various orthopedic equipment
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete compliance requirements by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Subject to float to any campus if needed

The unit offers specialized orthopedic services alongside medical surgical care, with telemetry monitoring capabilities. A unique feature includes an on-unit physical therapy gym that allows patients to receive adequate rehabilitation without leaving the unit. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
