Opportunity:

RN - Orthopedics

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• One holiday shift and one evening shift required during holiday periods
• No call responsibilities
• 1:6 nurse to patient ratio (possible stretch to 1:7)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - no first time travelers
• Previous travel experience required
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Orthopedic and trauma experience required
• Specialize in pre-op and post-op orthopedic care
• Care for elective and trauma patients including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and repairs
• Work with safe patient handling equipment and orthopedic equipment including CPM, knee immobilizer, bone foam
• Use of rapid response teams
• All RNs must pass an EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• 36 hours of orientation
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• May float to any facility campus if needed
• 50-mile local radius restriction
