Description
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Call required as needed with approximately 1 week's worth of call over a 12-17 week assignment
• On-call shifts include 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday in the call rotation
• Float required in the event of a COVID surge
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Perform 25-35 invasive catheterization procedures daily
• Handle balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, rotablader
• Experience with cardiac interventions, adjunct therapies, EP lab devices/ablation, PV lab procedures
• Work with hemodynamic monitoring, conscious sedation, and various access methods
• Scrub and circulate procedures, EKG interpretation, equipment setup
• Minimum 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience required with 2 years total experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required
• EPIC experience required with CUPID and XPER Witt systems
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Subject to float to any facility campus if needed
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
