Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work night shifts in a 12-bed emergency department
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Every third weekend requirement
• Serve general patient population from neonates to centenarians
• 36 hours of hospital orientation provided
• Navy scrubs required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, TNCC
• Skills include IV start, telemetry, conscious sedation, and triage
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
• Must be comfortable with arterial line management, central line care, ventilated patients, and isolation precautions
• Floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals may be required
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• Must complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• NC or Compact license required

The emergency department features 12 rooms and beds, serving approximately 35 patients daily with a full range of emergency medical needs. The facility provides modern medical equipment and maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups.
