Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Orientation starts every other Thursday
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association), CPI, TNCC preferred
• Fit test required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience and 1 year in-specialty experience required
• Travel experience required
• WV or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable)
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)
• Skills required: continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage, ventilated patient care
• Charting system experience preferred (Cerner)
• Daily census approximately 50 patients with 50 visits per day
• Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours prior to start

This healthcare facility operates a 5-bed emergency department plus 2 endoscopy beds, providing comprehensive emergency care services to the community. The facility offers diagnostic services including electrocardiography, respiratory monitoring, nuclear medicine, radiology, suturing, and splint application. The emergency department maintains modern equipment and provides 24/7 emergency care with full interdisciplinary support services to ensure quality patient outcomes.
