Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
• Charge role required for night travelers
• Must work every other weekend
• Must be able to work holidays and work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Contract length of 13-26 weeks accepted
• Float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding
• Call required if put on call for prescheduled shift
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed with auto approval
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic experience required
• Must be able to manage insulin and heparin drips
• Required certifications: BCLS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, charge nurse experience
• Navy scrubs required (not provided)
• Must be assigned to Inclement Weather Team and Storm/Hurricane Team
• May be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty or disaster
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• 8-10 hours of non-billable modules must be completed pre-start and annually

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
