Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Must have experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management required
• Must be able to titrate drips
• Must have PCU experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• All RNs must pass an EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Floating required as needed to all campuses
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Care for adult patients with stroke backup, renal disorders, sepsis, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and hematological disorders
Facility:
This healthcare organization operates a 34-bed General Medical Progressive Care Unit with all telemetry monitored beds providing cardiac surveillance. The facility features a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD) that provides monitoring surveillance for patients. The unit maintains a daily census of 30 patients and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
