Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts, weekdays with up to 2 weekends per month
• This is a dedicated float position requiring flexibility to float between ICU/Intermediate/Stepdown/MedSurg units based on patient volume
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during contract
• Patient ratios typically 1:5-6 depending on patient acuity and unit assignment
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• 1-2 years of nursing experience required, travel experience preferred
• Must hold active NC or multistate nursing license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA certified)
• EPIC EMR experience required with recent proficiency
• Skills include med/surg nursing, rapid response/code team utilization, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Dress code: All white or all navy scrubs
• May be required to float to CNA level discipline within scope of practice based on staffing needs
• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility (local rules apply)
• 13-week contract with ASAP start date
