Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Every other weekend schedule required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, nights, and weekends
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Required work settings: MS/Tele, Tele, and PCU/Stepdown
• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Must be able to start IVs and manage Heparin protocols
• Manage cardiac drips without titration
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Alabama nursing license required
• Experience with telemetry and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Must be proficient in rapid response/code team participation
• Blood product administration and central/peripheral line care experience required
• Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management skills needed
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE use required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Charting system experience required
