Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with alternating days off
• On-call requirements 1-2 days per week with 30-minute response time required
• Work every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 4:30 PM until Monday 6:00 AM)
• Holiday coverage as needed - expected to work at least 1 major holiday
• Floating assignments as needed
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required
• Open heart experience and scrub experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• EPIC experience required
• Skills required: CVOR, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Additional competencies: Fire Safety, Cell saver, Administration of blood & blood products, Infection control, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Wound Management
• Maximum 7 days RTO (Request Time Off)
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• Manager interview required
• Clean nursing license required - no license hits accepted

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
