Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8 schedule)
• 13-week assignment with potential to extend (3-6 month options available)
• Administer radiation therapy treatments on Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator
• Treat 30-40 patients per day including adults and geriatric patients
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have experience with Varian True Beams and Aria Electronic medical record (EPIC preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (T)
• Virginia license required (or license from another state with proof of VA license application)
• General skills required: CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Dosimetry systems experience: IMRT, Electron Beam Therapy
• Specialty treatment experience: Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, Prophylactic Treatments
• Specialty cancer experience: Keloids, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials
• Documentation systems experience: ARIA (Epic preferred)
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Must attend EPIC training class (accelerated or 2-day option)
• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation
