Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Critical Care RN position with 2:1 to 3:1 patient ratios
• Weekend coverage required
• Must be willing to float to MS/Tele and ER for critical care holds
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH, 6 hours of stroke education, EKG course completion
• Care for patients in Neuro ICU and Surgical ICU settings
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Experience required with arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, and cardiac drips
• Must be competent in post-cardiac surgery care, TAVR procedures, and neurological monitoring
• Handle emergency medications, procedural sedation, and blood product administration
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 15 patients in 20-bed unit
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
