Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule with holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio of 6:1 during nights
• Float required across all health system facilities if needed
• Minimum 2 years experience required, first time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients
• Manage telemetry monitoring, central line blood draws, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, wound care, and various IV drips including heparin and antibiotics
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Must complete compliance file by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• 50-mile local radius restriction applies
