Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 33.5 hour contract with flexible scheduling: 1x9.5 hour shift Friday nights (8:00 PM - 5:30 AM) and 2x12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Minimum 1 year experience required, 2 years strongly preferred
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT
• Required experience: PACS, Portables, C-Arm, Contrast procedures
• EPIC experience required, Interlad experience preferred
• Must have OR and fluoro experience
• Perform 250-300+ exams daily with 100-125 portable procedures
• Work with Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, and Phillips x-ray equipment
• Operate GE OEC c-arms and O-arm equipment
• Handle various procedures including ORIFs, hip replacements, spinal procedures, bronchoscopies, and ERCPs
• Perform fluoro procedures: lumbar punctures, myelograms, swallowing studies, esophagrams, UGIs, barium enemas
• Work in fast-paced central department responding to exams throughout hospital including fluoro, OR, inpatients, outpatients, ED, and NICU
• Serve adult and pediatric patients across emergency room, 21 OR rooms, 3 endoscopy rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, and 50-bed NICU
• Subject to float to any facility campus if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

This healthcare organization operates as a Level II trauma center, serving as the only Level II trauma facility in the region. The facility features over 500 beds and provides comprehensive medical services including emergency care, surgical services, and specialized imaging. The organization stabilizes and transports various trauma cases while maintaining a high-volume radiology department that supports multiple service lines including emergency medicine, surgery, and critical care.
