RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• May need to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH preferred
• Tele competency required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• 24 hours of orientation
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Free parking available
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, HTN, CAD, seizure, CVA, TIA, and CRD
• Must be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams

This acute care hospital is a 286-bed Level III Trauma facility that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains modern equipment and technology to support patient care. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services to ensure comprehensive patient care across all departments.
