Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hour guarantee per week
• 12-hour shifts with 1:4 patient ratio
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (1st timers not accepted)
• Care for patients from adolescents to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Epic charting system experience required (hard stop)
• Navy blue scrubs required
• General Emergency Department (Non-Trauma) setting with very high acuity
• Work in Stroke and STEMI certified facility
• Handle 165-175 patients per day in 59-bed ER
• Floating rare but may occur within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract (must be finalized at time of submission)
• RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Full compliance required to start on time
• 24 orientation hours (non-billable hours determined by contract length)
• GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission

This healthcare facility operates a large, busy emergency department that maintains Stroke and STEMI certifications. The facility features a 59-bed emergency department with 74 total rooms, averaging 165-175 patient visits daily. The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and Pyxis medication dispensing, maintaining high standards for patient care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
