Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 day shifts)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week with 1:1 patient ratios
• Must stay until procedures are complete each day
• No after hours call or weekend call requirements
• May float to inpatient units for tasks when cath lab volumes are low
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted with cath lab experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Skills required include circulating, conscious sedation, telemetry, and previous cath lab experience
• Navy scrubs provided by facility
• Charting system: Meditech
• Free parking available
• 16 hours of orientation required
• Daily census of 3-5 patients with approximately 5 visits per day
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• Handle diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, lower extremity procedures, and pacemaker/defibrillator implants
• Up to 8 hours of modules must be completed within 1 week of signing

The facility operates a 104-bed hospital providing comprehensive cardiovascular services including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The cath lab specializes in treating patients with conditions such as NSTEMI, STEMI, PVD, and various arrhythmias, offering state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative healthcare environment focused on quality patient care.
