Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x8 hour shifts: Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM and Monday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• First time travelers accepted if they meet minimum experience requirements
• Previous charge experience required
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must have flexibility with scheduling
• Required certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT MR, BLS
• PACS and Siemens equipment experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ED trauma experience required
• Pediatric acute care experience preferred
• Must be proficient in abdomen, abdominal MRA, female pelvis, MRCP, male pelvis imaging (abdominal MRV preferred)
• Chest imaging experience required
• Brain, cranial nerves, face soft tissue neck, head MRA, head MRV, and orbits imaging required
• Extremity imaging: foot, hand, hip bony pelvis, lower extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, upper extremity long bones required
• Must be comfortable with isolation precautions, contrast media prep/administration, and starting peripheral IVs
• Technical skills required: gradient echo imaging, MIP, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images (MRP preferred)
• Spinal imaging: cervical, lumbar, sacrum coccyx, spinal trauma, thoracic, thoracic MRA required
• Subject to float to any campus if needed
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (2-4 hours average)
