Opportunity:

RN - Orthopedics

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule with holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - no first time travelers accepted
• Orthopedic and trauma experience required
• Specialize in pre-op and post-op orthopedic care for elective and trauma patients
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6 (possible stretch to 1:7)
• Care for patients with total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and repairs, plus orthopedic trauma
• EPIC charting system experience required
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Work with safe patient handling equipment and orthopedic equipment including CPM, knee immobilizer, bone foam
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• 36-hour orientation period required
• Subject to floating to any campus if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
