Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, and IN State License (must be in hand prior to start)
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Use Cerner charting system
• Free parking provided
• 72 hours of orientation
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating is 100% required - may float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Handle general X-ray procedures and surgery support
• Fluoroscopy procedures if able
• Work with adult acute care, adult outpatient, arthrography, barium swallow/esophagus, contrast enema, ERCP, myelography, trauma cases, upper GI series, and O-ARM procedures
• Perform bedside/portable procedures and operating room procedures
• Daily census of approximately 150 in X-ray department
• Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Two pre-approved time off days available
• 2 supervisor references required

The radiology department features modern equipment including Siemens X-ray and Fluoro machines, Agfa and GE portables, and GE C-Arms. The facility maintains a 175-bed capacity and offers interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
