Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on days, nights, and weekends
• 38 bed unit with average daily census of 33 patients
• Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period: work one holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two out of three if three fall during assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Required certifications: BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• 24 hours of orientation (non-billable hours factored into assignment)
• Minimum 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, blood product administration, central line care, and various medical-surgical procedures
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback for non-compliance
