Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Must have willingness to float to other campuses MS-Tele Units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops to maintain hours
• Call required - must arrive at hospital within 1 hour when called in
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent/consecutive experience in Med Surg in hospital/acute care setting required
• Travel experience required - no first time travelers
• Typical staffing ratios are 1:5
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Skills required: MS/Tele, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE
• Epic experience preferred
• Valid state license required - pending licenses not accepted
• Up to 8 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start through HealthStream
• Must submit all time off requests - facility will not accept time off for major holidays
• Smoke-free facility and campus
• Two recent supervisory references required
