Description
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• Technologist must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• On call requirement: every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Work with adult patients, with preferred experience in adolescents and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Indiana license required and must be in hand prior to start date
• Must have 3s & 4s ONLY for neuro on skillset checklist
• Experience with Siemens equipment required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and the other scrubs
• Procedures include angiograms, angioplasty, stents, nephograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating is 100% required to other units within hospital or affiliate hospitals
• First time travelers accepted
• Call-in policy requires making up missed shifts during pay period or at end of contract
Facility:
This major healthcare facility features 4 interventional radiology rooms equipped with 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms. The facility is designated as Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke center, providing comprehensive vascular interventional and neuro interventional services. The department handles complex procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
