Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• Technologist must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• On call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Indiana license required
• Must work with adults and preferred experience with adolescents and geriatrics
• Skills required include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephogram, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic procedures, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Work in 4 IR rooms including 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms
• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and one scrubs
• Handle Level 1 trauma, PE, and stroke cases
• Perform vascular and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions
• Call-in policy requires making up missed shifts during the pay period or adding shifts to end of contract
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals

The facility maintains Level 1 designations for trauma, pulmonary embolism, and stroke care, providing complex vascular and neurological interventional services. The department is equipped with multiple IR rooms using advanced Siemens imaging technology and supports a full range of interventional procedures from routine vascular access to complex neurovascular interventions.
