Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Day shift schedule
• Must have CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
• 1 year experience in profession required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with pediatric patients
• Experience required with Siemens equipment
• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including MUGA scans, PET scans, abdominal studies, ventricular studies
• Draw venous blood and start/maintain IVs
• Handle nuclear cardiology procedures, gastric emptying studies, HIDA scans
• Conduct bone, brain, liver, and renal imaging studies
• Perform stress testing including adenosine infusion, exercise/rest studies, and pharmacological stress tests
• Maintain proper isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Responsible for storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Local candidates within 50 mile radius not accepted
• Hard document deadline is Tuesday 4:30pm CST prior to start with no exceptions

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
