RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 3 years of nursing experience required with Level I trauma experience mandatory
• Monday through Friday shifts with call requirements and holiday coverage
• Weekend only positions available
• 6 call shifts required in a 6-week period (can vary)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Circulating required, scrub preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most OR areas except cardiovascular and transplant
• Float within scope to meet facility needs (100% floating required)
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Skills required include general OR, trauma, various surgical procedures across specialties
• Work in Core 6 unit covering neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, gynecology, ENT, genitourinary, trauma, and robotics
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Indiana state license required and must be in hand prior to start date
• 2 supervisor references required
