Opportunity:

RN - OR; Additional Notes from VMS= Main Operating Room

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday schedule with call requirements of 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month
• 2-3 years of operating room experience strongly preferred
• Must have 1 year minimum experience in profession
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• 24 hours of orientation provided (3-4 days)
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Surgical specialties include robotic XI, orthopedic, spine/neuro, general/gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, urology, vascular, and Trauma Level 2
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital and LTAC experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must be located outside 50-mile local radius
• Hard document deadline: Tuesday 4:30pm CST prior to start date with no exceptions
