RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required (HARD STOP requirement)
• Work in main OR covering General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures
• 16 operating rooms with average daily census of 35 cases
• Work with Epic charting system, Pyxis, and 2 DaVinci XI robots
• Call requirements: 7-8 calls in 8-week schedule including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts
• Call shifts: C1 (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) or C2 (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Weekend coverage: 2-3 weekends per 8-week schedule (either in-house or on call)
• Holiday work required based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Floating rare but may occur within facility/scope of practice
• Required certification: BLS
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• 72 orientation hours (non-billable)
• Must have Georgia or Compact license in hand at time of submission
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)
