Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed
• Float required between all Cone Health facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first time travelers accepted)
• Patient ratio experience of 1:5-6 required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• EPIC charting system experience required
• All RNs must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Telemetry experience required: remote monitoring and on-unit monitoring preferred
• Skills include feeding tube care and management, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs
• Experience with CVA patients, nasal cannula, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with multiple co-morbidities
• Specialized care for stroke (neuro) patient population
• Daily census of 29 patients across 29 rooms
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Compliance deadline: 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date
• Local radius restriction: 50 miles (no locals accepted)

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
