Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Float within scope as needed by facility
• Must have 2 years of experience minimum
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or compact license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience required: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Telemetry monitoring on unit
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must wear royal blue scrubs
• Use Epic charting system
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with common medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, end-stage renal disease, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
• Work on 30-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

The hospital maintains interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to ensure comprehensive patient care.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
