Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• 5 years of experience required
• First-timers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS or CCI, RDCS, CCI RCS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Block scheduling type
• Approximately 3 weekend shifts per contract
• 1 hour orientation
• May float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Work with patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform adult outpatient echocardiograms, 3-D echo, pharmacologic stress echo, treadmill stress echo
• Experience with GE equipment, scanning complex anomalies, and post-surgical repairs
• Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG and provide management/lead experience
• Conduct various echo procedures including 2-D echo, bubble study, color doppler, TEE
• Work with isolation precautions/PPE and perform procedures on ICU/ED patients
• Must be licensed to practice in SC at time of submission
• 50 mile radius rule applies
• 2 supervisory references required
• Complete pre-start modules (non-billable, average 2 hours)
• Keep time off requests to minimum, especially first two weeks
• Previous charge experience preferred
