Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• Every other weekend required (12 weekend shifts during contract)
• May be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required
• May float to MICU or other departments as needed based on census
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• CRRT Prismax equipment experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours must be completed pre-start
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with primarily cardiac diagnoses
• Unit also takes MICU/SICU overflow patients
• Work with specialized equipment including Flotrac, Impella devices, IABP, and CRRT
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required June through November

This acute care hospital features a newly established ICU unit with 4 beds, planned for expansion to 16 beds as volume increases. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac care services and maintains modern equipment including advanced monitoring systems and specialized cardiac support devices. The hospital offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
