Description
Opportunity:
RN - Critical Care Peds Float Pool
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) for 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3
• Float to all Pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU
• 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• BLS and PALS certifications required (American Heart Association only)
• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Block schedule requests require manager approval and depend on unit needs
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
• Assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Skills required include PICU care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, continuous sedation, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, chest tube management, ventilator care, and ABG interpretation
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
