Job Details:

• Work 8-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 6-week schedule requires working 2 weekend nights (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Holiday call requirements: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday call (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Holiday work requirements: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• 2 weekend shifts on call required per contract
• May float to GI unit or Center One Surgery Center
• 40-hour orientation period
• 3 years of nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma, liver and kidney experience required
• Must have Trauma Certification with at least 2-3 years of Level 1 Trauma experience
• BSN degree required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers
• PA or compact license required at time of submission
• Scrub and circulate experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
• Charting system: Cerner
• Work with all surgical procedures and equipment
• Handle adult patient population with daily census of 30
• Work in 14-room, 14-bed unit
• Complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• PA fingerprints required
• Pass/Fail exam not required for OR positions
