Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Minimum 2 years experience required - first time travelers accepted
• Float required between all Cone Health facilities
• BLS certification required
• EPIC experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Must pass interpretation of dysrhythmias and telemetry remote monitoring
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with medical conditions requiring acute care
• Skills include feeding tube care and management, renal failure care, blood product administration
• Manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and IV starts
• Handle PCA, CVA patients, surgical drains, and chest tubes
• Provide non-invasive airway management and wound care
• 21-bed unit with daily census of 21 patients
• Local radius restriction of 50 miles - no locals accepted
• Full compliance file required by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date
