Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend nights schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) - 3x12 shifts
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during night shifts
• Must float to IMC, M/S tele, or ED as needed
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be comfortable caring for adults and geriatric patients
• Skills required include arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac drip titration, blood product administration, and central line care
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Two supervisor references required

The ICU treats patients with complex conditions including multisystem organ failure, respiratory illnesses, sepsis, cardiovascular emergencies, and stroke patients, requiring advanced nursing skills and critical care expertise.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
