Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12 schedule)
• Float to IMC, Medical/Surgical Telemetry, or Emergency Department as needed
• 2:1 patient ratio for days and nights
• 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week period
• No call responsibilities
• 36-hour orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including multisystem organ failure, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, sepsis, CVA/seizures, STEMI/NSTEMI, and DKA
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood product administration, and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Must have Maryland license or compact license at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
