Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8 schedule)
• 13-week assignment with potential to extend (3-6 month options available)
• Administer radiation therapy treatments on Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations with daily caseload of 30-40 patients
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have Virginia state license (or license from another state with proof of VA license application)
• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience required with Varian True Beams and ARIA Electronic medical record (EPIC preferred)
• General skills required: CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Dosimetry systems experience: IMRT, Electron Beam Therapy
• Specialty treatment experience: Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, Prophylactic Treatments
• Specialty cancers/illnesses experience: Keloids, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials
• Must complete EPIC training (accelerated or 2-day class)
• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation
• Scrub color: Any color acceptable
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Minimal requested time off preferred
