Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hour guarantee per week
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with adult to geriatric population
• 49 rooms with average daily census of 48 patients
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Required certifications: BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 1 year minimum experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Renal Med Surg specialization required
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, hemodialysis management, blood product administration, and various medical/surgical procedures
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
