Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Float required within skillset/acuity level
• 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week period with every other weekend coverage
• No call responsibilities required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience with up to 6 patients
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, NIHSS
• Must have experience with Cerner charting system
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post MI care, feeding tube management, pre/post hemodialysis management, port access, blood product administration, IV management, heparin protocols, CVA care, pre/post neurosurgery, spinal cord injury care, traumatic brain injury, total joint replacement, surgical drain management, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, isolation precautions, and wound care including wound vac
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Labs and drug screening must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
