Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Float required within skillset/acuity level
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend for the duration of the contract
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 6:1
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must be proficient with Cerner charting system
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post MI care, feeding tube management, pre/post hemodialysis management, IV management, blood product administration, wound care, tracheostomy care, and various other medical-surgical skills
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must have either a compact license or MD license
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract
• Complete labs and drug screening within 48 hours of signing
• Two supervisor references required
