Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience required (first-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
• Must have experience with vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Core competencies required: 3 out of 4 cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures
• AM shift focuses on peripheral vascular procedures
• PM shift requires cardiovascular experience with heart and lung transplant experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with complex procedures including: receiving pump lines from perfusion, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, TAVR, VAD, heart and lung transplants, valve replacements, and aortic dissection
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Pre-approved time off available up to 5 non-holiday days
