Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) with urgent staffing need
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to med/tele units as required
• Weekend coverage required with 14 weekend shifts per contract
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Self-scheduling available
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 12-bed unit with daily census of 10
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have charting system experience (Altera preferred but not required)
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Must complete drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Skills required include surgical intensive care, sheath removal, GI surgery care, wound management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IABP and Impella support, cardiac catheterization care, pulmonary artery monitoring, renal failure management, ventilator care, and various IV therapies
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Hard document deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
