Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with call requirements
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• 1-2 call shifts per week with possibility of 1-2 late shifts per week from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM when needed
• Work in 5-procedure room unit including 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, and 1 CT capable room
• Handle 10-15 cases per day on average including joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, nephrostomy and cholecystectomy tube placements and exchanges
• Perform abscess drains, port placements, biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, chest tube placements and other interventional procedures
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• State license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT VI, BLS
• Must be comfortable with central venous access, PICC lines care and maintenance, EKG lead placement, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Experience with Siemens and Philips equipment preferred
• Scrub color: Black or Caribbean blue
• Charting system: Meditech
• Free parking in unrestricted spaces
• 40-hour orientation required
• Zero tolerance policy for THC - drug screen required during compliance and on day 1
• Fit testing required with clean-shaven policy for proper mask fitting
• Cannot live within 50 miles of facility
