Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No regular call requirements but must stay for late case coverage until cases are closed
• Every third weekend call coverage required
• Weekend coverage required
• Float assignments not required
• Must have 1 year experience minimum, 2 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, plus one of the following: ARRT RT(R), RCIS, RCES, CVT, or RRT
• Must have experience with EP lab procedures, PPI, and Phillips equipment
• Must be able to scrub procedures and perform EP studies
• Utilize Meditech charting system
• Maintain procedural responsibilities including temporary pacemaker procedures, lead tech experience
• Work with adult and geriatric patients (ages handled)
• Daily census of 4-5 patients in 2-room EP lab setting
• Patient ratios: 3:1 days, 4:1 nights and weekends
• Scrub color: Any color without emblem
• Must be greater than 30 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Schedule changes may occur with 48 hours notice

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 210 staffed beds and operates a specialized electrophysiology laboratory equipped with advanced Phillips equipment and 3D imaging capabilities. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac services including electrophysiology studies, permanent pacemaker insertions, cardiac ablations, and AICD programming. The EP lab maintains high standards for procedural care with experienced interdisciplinary support teams and modern equipment to handle complex cardiac arrhythmia cases.
