Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 3 times throughout 13-week assignment
• Minimal on-call requirements from 4:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday-Friday and 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM (24 hours) on weekends
• Work with 4 general rooms, 1 SPECT/CT, and 2 PET/CT
• Provide care for adults and geriatrics (required), with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents preferred
• Perform outpatient and inpatient nuclear medicine procedures
• Handle IV starts, phlebotomy, and venous blood draws
• Store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials safely
• Conduct normal diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging including cardiac, bone scan, HIDA, renogram, liver/spleen, and infection imaging
• Perform SPECT/CT scans including infection imaging, MIBG, whole body I-123 and I-131 imaging, Y-90 imaging
• Execute PET/CT scanning including FDG, Dotatate, PSMA
• Administer therapies including I-131, Xofigo, Lutathera
• Required certifications: ARRT N or NMTCB, ARRT R, BLS, NM State License (PET license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Use Cerner charting system and PACS
• Hunter green scrubs required
• Must live more than 100 miles from facility
• RQI certifications not accepted
• Contract minimum 10 weeks with 6-month break required after 4 consecutive assignments or one year

The organization maintains strict compliance requirements and offers modern nuclear medicine technology including multiple imaging rooms and advanced equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
