RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with rotating weekends and holidays
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratios: 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required to MS unit with 1:7 ratios
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIH, AHA ACLS
• Traveler's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from hospital service area
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with daily census of 33 patients
• Handle various conditions including post-MI, pre/post cardiac cath, CVA, craniotomy, ortho trauma
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips, wound care, chest tubes, tracheostomy care
• Work with interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Must complete drug test 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed for CDC fit testing guidelines
• Complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
