Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation and holidays as needed
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5, or 1:4 when managing drips/BiPAP
• Must have cardiac PCU experience and be comfortable with 1:5 ratios
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers accepted
• Previous charge RN experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIH preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Staff scheduled for 6-week periods via self-assisted schedule through Optilink
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Nurse assistants available 24/7, RN secretary available 7 AM to 11 PM
• Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred
• Care for cardiac patients including congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, pre/post cardiac catheterization
• Secondary focus on respiratory problems including COPD, pneumonia, BiPAP
• Required skills include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip titration, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy management
• Subject to float to any facility campus if needed
• No locals within 50-mile radius accepted

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
