Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts per week with call responsibilities every third day
• Required to work approximately 2 weekends per month and holidays as needed
• Must maintain 30-minute response time for call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart surgery experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Required certifications: NBSTSA (only - no NCCT accepted), BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• May be required to float to general OR when needed
• Work in tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Complete 5-6 hours of pre-start modules
• Maximum 7-day return to offer timeframe
• Perform complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, angioplasty, and ventricular assist device procedures
• Maintain expertise in fire safety, aseptic technique, laser safety, radiation safety, and universal protocol procedures
• Handle specimen processing, sterilization, and equipment management
• Manager interview required after clinical screening
